Chantal Lake and Vintage hold 1.61 L, or 1.7 qt, with induction compatibility.
Small can lose compatibility. Hario’s 0.5 L Buono excludes induction; Fellow’s 1 L Stagg leaves it unknown.

Your choices are compared with each model’s product details. A missing or conflicting value stays unknown and cannot satisfy a choice you select. The starting order helps you browse; it does not rate real-world performance.

A tea kettle and a pour-over kettle serve different pours
Fellow's Stagg has a 1 L capacity and a pour-over design; All-Clad's Stainless Steel Stovetop Tea Kettle has a larger body. For repeated mug refills, compare usable fill guidance as well as capacity. For pouring over coffee, inspect the spout and grip: our reading of kettle specifications does not measure pouring control or boiling time.
The maker describes Chantal's Buttons kettle as enamel on carbon steel, while Fellow's Stagg uses stainless steel. Material alone cannot tell you how comfortable the handle is when hot. Follow the stove, handle and maximum-fill instructions, and keep hands away from escaping steam.
Induction and a whistle each need their own answer
Induction compatibility is known for 8 kettles: All-Clad's Stainless Steel and Chantal's Buttons are compatible, while Hario's Buono is marked incompatible. Fellow's Stagg and Chantal's Sven have no compatibility value here. An unknown value is no reason to assume a kettle will work on your induction hob.
Whistle information covers 7 kettles, including the Chantal Buttons. A missing whistle field does not mean a silent model, and a whistle is no substitute for attending a kettle on a lit burner. Verify the exact version rather than transferring features from another finish or kettle in the same range.

Why is the Hario Buono smaller than the 0.7L in its name?
Hario gives the V60 Buono a practical capacity of 500 milliliters, and that's the figure the minimum-capacity field uses. The product name’s 0.7 L is a larger number than the supported usable capacity, so entering that nominal volume leaves this kettle out.
Which of these kettles whistle?
Seven pages mention a whistle: the All-Clad and six Chantal kettles, including the two Chantal Classic kettles, which Chantal describes as having a two-note harmonica whistle. The Chantal Classic Loop, Fellow Stagg and Hario Buono show no whistle entry here, which isn't the same as saying they're silent.
Can I get stainless steel and induction in the same kettle?
Two of the four stainless steel kettles state induction compatibility: All-Clad's 2 quart kettle and Chantal's 1.8 qt Stainless Steel Classic. The six enamel kettles are all Chantal, on carbon steel, and every one but the 1.4 qt Sven states induction compatibility, so the Sven is the one to ask Chantal about if you cook on induction. 1.7 qt. Chantal's Lake and Vintage kettles hold 1.61 L and state induction compatibility; no smaller kettle here does. Small means giving that up. Hario says its 0.5 L V60 Buono isn't induction compatible, and Fellow's 1 L Stagg doesn't say, so those two suit cooks who don't need induction.
