A shorter rack can still be wider

Enclume Reversible Arch Ceiling Pot Rack in Hammered Steel measures 34 in long by 16 in wide and 17 in high. Carnival Rectangle Ceiling Pot Rack in Hammered Steel is 36 in long by 18 in wide and 21 in high. The modest length change adds width and height as well.

Across these ceiling racks, length runs from 20 to 54.5 in. Decide where the rack should sit over the workspace, then check its width separately. Length alone leaves much of the footprint undecided.
