How the comparison works
Your choices are compared with each model’s product details. A missing or conflicting value stays unknown and cannot satisfy a choice you select. The starting order helps you browse; it does not rate real-world performance.
Source dates appear with each link below. A source date does not confirm today's price or stock.
Order from case coverage, not plank dimensions alone
Known case coverage runs from 9.6 to 27.39 square feet. Daltile RevoTile Carrara White sits at the smaller end and Mannington Adura Max Napa Barrel at the larger end. Package and construction descriptions inform the flooring choices, leaving installed wear, water exposure and your subfloor's condition unevaluated. Use the selected product's case coverage when converting your measured floor area into boxes. Check the case size before ordering; cutting layout and extra material need a separate plan, rather than a universal allowance inferred from these products.
Overall thickness and wear layer answer different questions
Overall thickness spans 4.4 to 12 mm where available. TrafficMaster Edwards Oak is at the thinner end; COREtec Originals Premium Leisure Oak and Daltile RevoTile reach the thicker end. Wear-layer figures use mils instead and span 4 to 22 mil where available. NuCore Performance Butter Toast carries 22 mil. Keep those units and measurements separate: neither figure alone demonstrates scratch resistance, service life or a flooring system's suitability for your room.
Read the installation system before buying underlayment
Mannington Napa Barrel has an attached pad and click-lock details; Bruce Hydropel Natural Oak has click-lock without an attached pad. Marazzi Montagna Dapple Gray has neither. Flooring sold under a waterproof label still needs its own subfloor, installation and warranty instructions. Do not infer permission for a wet location or an extra underlayment layer from that label. Follow the material's cutting and dust-control precautions.
Before you buy
Is wear-layer thickness the same as total thickness?
They measure different things. The wear layer is the protective top layer, given in mil, thousandths of an inch; total thickness is the whole plank in millimeters, 4.4 mm on the TrafficMaster Edwards Oak and 12 mm on the COREtec Originals and Daltile RevoTile. The 5 mm Shaw Floorte Pro Paragon has a 20 mil wear layer; the 6.5 mm Lifeproof Sterling Oak has 6 mil. Warranties don’t track it either: the Lifeproof carries 50 years, like the 20 mil Mannington Adura Max. Only 13 of the 20 floors state a wear layer at all. Not here. Compare wear layer separately. Warranties do not track it either, and seven floors omit wear-layer thickness.
Will this work out how many cases I need?
No, it compares floors rather than calculating an order. Case coverage runs from 9.6 sq ft on the Daltile RevoTile to 27.39 sq ft on the Mannington Adura Max, so use your chosen floor’s own figure with the maker’s waste allowance.
Are all these floors waterproof?
All 20 are described as waterproof, including the Daltile ceramic and Marazzi porcelain tiles, but the limits of that claim sit in each maker’s warranty and installation terms, so read what they say about exclusions before you start a bathroom or basement job.
