Wattage does not tell you brightness. Brightech Circle LED USB gives 1,330 lumens at 12 W; Addison and Ivy give 450 lumens at 40 W.
Only nine of seventeen state lumens; IKEA FADO leaves output unknown.

Choose a bulb socket or an integrated light source
Brightech's Circle and Leaf use integrated LEDs; IKEA's FADO and Brightech's Addison do not. A lamp with a bulb socket needs a compatible bulb, so verify its inclusion and permitted type. Dimming is a separate feature: Addison has it, while FADO does not in these specifications. Neither light-source type alone promises dimming.
Lumens describe output, watts describe a different limit
Maker light-output figures run from 350 to 1330 lumens across 9 lamps with brightness data. Brightech's Leon and Circle occupy those endpoints. The other lamps cannot be treated as dimmer because their lumen values are absent. These are source-page output claims, without room-brightness measurements or a shared measurement standard shown.
The wattage ceiling for a bulb-based lamp tells you what it accepts, rather than how bright your chosen bulb will be. Stay within that ceiling and read the bulb's own lumen figure. Shade shape and placement also matter to your reading spot, but these values do not describe glare or light distribution.
Your bedside table must hold more than the lamp base
Base footprints with measurements range from 36 to 154 sq in. Brightech's Leaf sits at the smaller end; Circle occupies the larger end. Check the actual base dimensions and shade width before sharing that surface with a book or phone. Missing footprints remain an open fit question.
Circle includes a USB port in its feature data, while Leaf does not. Check the chosen lamp's ports and any smart-control claim directly; neither follows from brightness or base size.
Before you buy
Is lamp width the same as the base footprint?
No. The Brightech Circle LED USB is 14 in wide on a 154 sq in base, while the 15.4 in-wide Brightech Dawn gives no base size at all. A shade might overhang its base, so measure both for a crowded nightstand. Only 9 of the 17 state lumens, so lamps like the IKEA FADO can’t be compared on light output here.
Which lamps have a USB port?
Three: the Brightech Ivy, Sphere and Circle LED USB. None of the 12 that say either way has an AC outlet.
Which lamps work with a smart-home app?
None states smart control. Ten say they have no smart control; seven don’t say.
