How the Kitchen Trash Can Finder (simplehuman models) works

We compare published specifications; we have not tested these products.

Which details affect a match?

A model matches when its details meet every choice you select. Missing or conflicting values stay unknown. If nothing fits, the finder shows the closest option and what it misses.

  • Minimum total capacity (L)?
  • How do you want to open the lid?
  • Which custom liner code do you use?

Order and links

The starting order helps you browse. Your choices determine which models match. When the first match has no product link, the finder identifies another linked match separately. Commission amounts do not determine a match.

Sources and limitations

Ten simplehuman cans, each a specific size and finish, from simplehuman's product pages on September 26, 2026; near-identical plastic can revisions were dropped so each row is a distinct model. Capacity is simplehuman's total, which for the recycler covers both compartments. Liner codes and body materials come from each page, and the recycler has no liner code here while two cans don't name a body material. Sensor response, lid wear and odor control weren't put through any trial for this page, and the order is alphabetical.

The finder shows source links and the dates they were checked. Those dates do not establish today’s price or stock. Before ordering, confirm the model and variant on the seller’s page.
