Glass options here hold 18 or 32 fl oz. Larger presses use stainless steel.
Choose capacity and carafe material. Filter names are maker descriptions, rather than measured sediment results; check the selected size on the product page.

Size the press for your usual pour
Frieling’s Mirror Finish presses start at 17 fl oz, while the Stanley Classic Stay Hot holds 48 fl oz. The capacity range is 17 to 48 fl oz, but vessel capacity does not show the amount of coffee you can pour after adding grounds. Choose around your usual batch and the maker’s filling directions.
ESPRO offers glass and stainless steel carafes with a dual micro-filter; Frieling uses a double screen, and Stanley uses stainless steel mesh. Brewing behavior and sediment have no measurements behind this reading of maker descriptions; the construction differences still help you choose a cleaning routine.
A shared product page still needs a size choice
ESPRO’s glass and steel presses both come in 18 fl oz and 32 fl oz sizes. Opening a purchase link can leave that choice to you; select the intended capacity and finish before placing the order. A filter name alone cannot settle which cup texture you will prefer.
Read the carafe’s cleaning instructions and handle hot coffee as directed. The material field describes the vessel, without demonstrating heat retention or resistance to breakage.
Before you buy
Is the capacity what I'll actually pour?
Treat it as a size label. It's the maker's stated capacity (such as an 18 oz P3), and makers don't all count the same way, so it doesn't promise how much coffee ends up in your cup. Glass limits you to 18 or 32 fl oz. Anything larger here is stainless steel: Frieling’s two largest presses and Stanley's 48 oz. The glass options are all ESPRO (the P3 and P5); ESPRO's P7 and every Frieling and Stanley press use steel carafes. Filter names differ by brand (ESPRO's dual micro-filter, Frieling's double screen, Stanley's stainless mesh), and they're the makers' descriptions rather than measured sediment results.
Frieling's sizes share one page. How do I order the right one?
Go by the fl oz figure and model number on Frieling's page: 17 fl oz is 0102, 23 fl oz is 0103, 36 fl oz is 0104 and 44 fl oz is 0130. All four are the same Mirror Finish press in 18/10 stainless steel, so size is the main choice.
