How do dust extractors differ from larger collectors?
Makers rate DEWALT and Festool extractors at 138-155 cfm, versus 537-1,450 cfm for the larger collectors. Filter ratings overlap.
A 0.3 µm rating alone cannot promise dust capture at your tool. Consider the whole setup.

With no preferences selected: Baileigh DC-1450C Cyclone Dust Collector is one option to compare. The first fit with a product link is DEWALT DWV010 Dust Extractor.
Your choices are compared with each model’s product details. A missing or conflicting value stays unknown and cannot satisfy a choice you select. The starting order helps you browse; it does not rate real-world performance.

Choose the machine connection before the airflow figure
Known inlets span 2.5 to 6 in. Maker ratings, connections and storage describe the dust collectors; machine capture, filter leakage and duct losses have no measurements here. The DEWALT dust extractor uses the smaller inlet, while WEN DC1300 uses the larger inlet. Match the dust port, hose and adapters for your machine rather than choosing by airflow alone. Maker airflow figures range from 138 to 1450 cfm across extractors and collectors. These figures have no documented shared rating standard here and cannot describe airflow through your particular duct run.
Filtration size does not describe the whole dust-control setup
Filtration figures span 0.3 to 2.5 microns. Festool CT EI HEPA extractors and the DEWALT extractor carry the finer figure; the Shop Fox collectors carry the coarser figure. A micron value alone does not supply collection efficiency, sealing quality or suitability for a hazardous dust. Read the selected unit's filter and material restrictions, including fire and dust precautions, before connecting it to a process.
Emptying access and electrical supply can rule out a collector
Known collection capacities run from 1.5 to 50 gal. Laguna Tools B Flux has the smaller capacity; WEN DC1300 has the larger capacity and a 120 V supply. Baileigh's cyclone uses 220 V. Check your electrical supply, container access, assembled dimensions and the route for moving or emptying the unit. A mobile base does not mean the collector can pass a doorway.

Which collectors are wall-mounted?
POWERTEC DC5370, RIKON 60-101 and Rockler Dust Right are described as wall-mounted, weighing 45, 60 and 40 lb respectively. Eleven machines state a mobile base. A motorless cyclone separator is an accessory, so it needs a separate powered machine; the three separator-only kits are excluded here.
Will a finer filter rating keep my workshop dust-free?
The rating describes the filter, not capture through your hoses and hoods. Grizzly G0860 has a 1 µm rating and G1028Z2 a 2.5 µm rating, but these figures do not prove whole-system collection efficiency. The sources here do not establish equivalent airflow measurement methods across makers.
What electrical supply should I allow for?
Baileigh DC-1450C states 220 V and DEWALT DWV010 120 V. Four machines have no voltage detail in this comparison: the three Festool units and Rockler Dust Right. Follow the exact model's electrical and installation instructions before use; horsepower alone does not specify its supply. Their makers rate the four DEWALT and Festool extractors at 138 to 155 cfm, versus 537 to 1,450 cfm for the 13 collectors. The extractors and Rockler Dust Right HEPA carry 0.3 µm filter ratings. For your setup, that number alone cannot promise dust capture at the tool.
