Your choices are compared with each model’s product details. A missing or conflicting value stays unknown and cannot satisfy a choice you select. The starting order helps you browse; it does not rate real-world performance.

Moen's Engage Handheld has a maker-rated maximum flow of 2.5 GPM. Attract Combination combines a fixed head with a handheld at a rated maximum of 1.75 GPM. Both have 6 maker-described settings, so configuration and the selected flow variant separate them before setting count does.
You can compare those ratings without assuming the same spray feel. GPM alone cannot describe the spray pressure in home plumbing.
Extra settings are choices, not stronger water pressure
From maker function descriptions rather than a shower-pressure evaluation, Moen's Hydro Energetix has 8 settings; Speakman's Assana has 5, including pause. Makers do not necessarily count functions the same way, and neither the setting count nor GPM predicts washing performance in your shower.
Keep the flow option attached to the product when selecting a finish or opening the maker's page. A different variant can carry a different rating. Choose the exact model and flow option rather than treating the whole family as interchangeable.
Before you buy
Does GPM tell me water pressure?
GPM describes flow rate, not pressure. Speakman Assana’s maker rating does not establish the flow or pressure your plumbing will deliver, nor a directly comparable spray-performance result. You can choose the format. If you want both formats at its lower maker rating, Attract is the option to consider. Engage offers the handheld format. Rated flow cannot predict spray pressure or comfort in your plumbing.
Are setting counts measured the same way?
Makers publish their own counts. Attract names pause alongside six functions; Moen Hydro Energetix gives eight settings. Extra modes do not establish stronger spray.
Will another finish keep the same flow rating?
A model family can offer several flow variants. Choose the exact flow option and model code in the row, then confirm the finish and delivery availability for your location. Moen Attract combines fixed and handheld heads at 1.75 GPM; Engage offers a handheld at 2.5 GPM. Choose the format you prefer.
