Only Capresso's three jugs permit dishwashing. froth PRO and Select allow it; froth TS requires the upper rack.
Powered bases stay out. Zulay Ventus and eight whisks need rinsing or hand washing.

Zulay Electric Handheld Milk Frother: Source 1 ↗ · September 26, 2026
Choose between a powered jug and a whisk you hold
Capresso froth PRO uses a countertop jug and mains electricity; Zulay Kitchen's Double Grip uses a handheld whisk and replaceable batteries. Zulay's Dynamic Rechargeable instead uses a rechargeable battery. That choice changes your vessel and power routine before you get to foam texture.
Known frothing capacities span 8 to 16 oz. Capresso froth PRO has an 8 oz frothing capacity and froth Select has 16 oz; Zulay Ventus has 8.5 oz. Follow each mode's fill marks rather than filling to the jug's total volume. Handheld models have no frothing-capacity value here, so a missing value does not imply a tiny batch.
The cleaning shortcut changes with the jug
Capresso froth TS specifies a jug safe for the dishwasher's upper rack; Zulay Ventus specifies hand-washing the jug. Zulay Dynamic Rechargeable calls for hand-washing attachments, while Double Grip calls for rinsing the whisk. Read which parts can get wet and keep electrical parts out of the wash.
The speed settings are another narrow distinction: Dynamic Rechargeable has 3 settings and Zulay LUX has 2. Speed count does not measure foam quality. These are equipment and care comparisons, with no milk-frothing sessions behind them; milk choice, texture and heating performance need separate evaluation.
Before you buy
Can the powered base of a jug frother go in the dishwasher?
Keep it out. Capresso's dishwasher wording is about the removable milk jug alone, and no maker here makes a dishwasher claim for a whole powered appliance. Among the whisks, six just need a rinse, while the rechargeable Dynamic and Froth N Go have attachments you wash by hand.
Does the Ventus plug in or run on batteries?
Zulay's Ventus page doesn't make its power source clear, so it shows as unknown and can't count as a match once you pick a power source. The three Capresso jugs plug in, and their spec tables give 600W/120V/60Hz. The four jugs state frothing capacities of 8 to 16 fl oz, which is separate from heating capacity.
Do more speeds or more whisk heads make better foam?
Nothing on this page measures foam. Only two whisk pages give a speed count, 3 on the Dynamic and 2 on the LUX, and a double or triple whisk head, as on the Double Whisk and Tornado Triple Whisk, is a design detail separate from speed settings.
