Malouf's four waterproof protectors fit up to 22 in; Brooklyn Bedding's Deep Pocket up to 21 in. Organic cotton gives less depth.
For Naturepedic's organic cotton, the waterproof pad stops at 16 in; its quilted pad reaches 15 in without a waterproof barrier.

Your choices are compared with each model’s product details. A missing or conflicting value stays unknown and cannot satisfy a choice you select. The starting order helps you browse; it does not rate real-world performance.

Measure mattress depth separately from bed width and length. The maximum-depth figures run from 14 to 22 in: Brooklyn Bedding's Luxury Cooling protector allows 14 in, while Malouf Prime allows 22 in. Naturepedic's Waterproof Organic pad allows 16 in. These are depth limits, not the dimensions of the bed size you are buying.
Coop Sleep Goods' Ultra-Cool and Ultra-Tech protectors have no supported depth limit here. A familiar size name cannot fill that gap; get the pocket-depth figure for your chosen version before treating it as a fit.
Separate the fabric against your skin from the liquid barrier
Naturepedic's organic-cotton options show why fabric alone is not enough: the Waterproof Organic pad has a waterproof description, while the Organic Quilted pad has no waterproof barrier. Brooklyn Bedding's polyethylene Luxury Cooling protector is water resistant; its terry-cloth Deep Pocket protector is waterproof.
Choose the protection description for the spills you want to address, then read that protector's washing instructions. Maker descriptions do not promise protection against every spill. Fabric and barrier descriptions leave noise and changes to mattress warmth unanswered; spill trials were outside the comparison.
Before you buy
Is waterproof a promise against every spill?
These are maker descriptions. The saved excerpts name Malouf's polyurethane backing and Naturepedic's TPU waterproofing; this comparison contains no spill-test standard or measured protection result. Brooklyn Bedding calls its Luxury Cooling protector water resistant, and the quilted Naturepedic pad is described as having no waterproof barrier. Those labels do not establish equivalent protection across makers.
Is there a minimum mattress depth too?
Some ranges have one: Malouf's begins at 6 in, the Deep Pocket's at 8 in and Naturepedic's waterproof pad's at about 9 in. Pick your bed size and read the care instructions on each product page before buying. Five waterproof protectors say they fit beyond 16 in, while the other three stop at that boundary or at Brooklyn Bedding’s lower depth below. Brooklyn Bedding's water-resistant Luxury Cooling protector stops at 14 in. Coop's two waterproof protectors give no depth figure, so they can't be matched to a depth you enter.
